OnTop MES IoT Hub – automatically incorporates UR cobots into both machine and manual shop-floor operations within the OnTop Manufacturing Execution System for increased visibility, productivity and profitability.

Quick Start Guide

  1. Go to the official OnTop website www.ontop.one and click the button “Ask for a free online demo” at the bottom of the website.
  2. You will be contacted shortly by email or by phone for a free demo.
  3. After the demo, you can build customised OnTop Cobot online services for a quotation.
  4. After you subscribe you will receive the OnTop IoT Hubs to be activated and connected for service.
    1. Activate OnTop IoT Hubs according to instructions you received with the subscription.
    2. If connected to an LAN, connect the OnTop IoT Hub to the same LAN as the Cobot controlbox.
      If the Cobot is not on an LAN, connect the OnTop IoT Hub directly to the Cobot controlbox with a CAT5/6 LAN Cable.
      Connect the OnTop IoT Hub to the Internet with CAT5/6 LAN cable.
    3. Connect the OnTop IoT Hub to a 24V power supply.
    4. Power up the UR Cobot.
    5. The OnTop IoT Hub will connect automatically to OnTop IoT app services.

    Read and accept the EULA.
    Click the submit button.
  2. You will be contacted shortly by email.
  3. If connected to an LAN, connect the OnTop™ IIoT Hub to the same LAN as the Cobot controlbox.
    If the Cobot is not on an LAN, connect the OnTop™ IIoT Hub directly to the Cobot controlbox with a CAT5/6 LAN Cable.
    Connect the OnTop™ IIoT Hub to the Internet with CAT5/6 LAN cable.
  4. Connect the OnTop™ IIoT Hub to a 24V power supply.
  5. Power up the UR Cobot.
  6. The OnTop™ IIoT Hub will connect automatically to OnTop™ IIoT app services.
  7. Your cobot telemetry data will be available under the Report tab for a limited free trial period.
  8. Subscribe to OnTop™ MES for a choice of full app services.
    Use the same OnTop™ IIoT Hub to connect other types of production equipment, as described on www.ontop.one.
